Mike Meagher Memorial Golf Tournament

About the Tournament

Mike Meagher was a local entrepreneur, builder and devoted family man. Mike grew up on the Cape and began building houses at the age of 16. He worked for many prominent local builders before opening his own construction company, Meagher Bros. Construction alongside his brother Tim Meagher’s Meagher Construction company. Mike was a talented builder well known and respected for his hard work ethic, creative solutions and skilled craftmanship. While he wasn’t building or spending time with his family (Michelle, Mckenna, Mike III and Meghan) he was most often found on the golf course, doing what he loved most.

Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in February 2023, Mike was treated by the amazing medical team at the Davenport-Mugar Cancer Center at Cape Cod Hospital. Mike lost his battle with cancer in January 2024. His family’s wish is to carry on his legacy by supporting the CCH Cancer Center. The Mike Meagher Memorial Framers Open Golf Tournament has been established to honor and celebrate Mike’s life by raising funds to support the research and treatment options here on Cape Cod. Proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Davenport-Mugar Cancer Center at CCH in Mike’s memory.
